ABOUT CRACKHOUSE CARNIVAL COMEDY FESTIVAL
Up to 10 top international and local stand-up comics, 10 shows, 5 nights - CRACKHOUSE CARNIVAL is a comedy festival held in celebration of the club's 3rd year anniversary! Held on the 26th - 30th April, 2017, The Crackhouse Carnival will be hosting top-notch comedy stars from around UK, HK, Australia, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore and of course, our very own Malaysian local superstars to entertain an audience of over 1,000 people.

GB LABRADOR (PHILIPINES)
Recently performed at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival - GB Labrador is a force to be reckoned with having rocked stages not only in Australia but also Singapore, Hong Kong & Malaysia including Harith Iskanders '...Laugh Malaysia" show in KK!
NIK COPPIN (UK)
He is one of the few comedians to enjoy success on both the UK comedy circuit and at international festivals. He has performed at the Edinburgh and Adelaide Fringes, New Zealand and Melbourne International Comedy Festivals, all over Australia, and at the inaugural Hollywood Fringe Festival in Los Angeles.
PHOON CHI HO (MALAYSIA)
If you’re hungry for some clean hilarity and inoffensive comedy entertainment for your event, then PHOON CHI HO is all you need! Equipped with a catalogue of sharp-wit observations, off-the-wall dance moves, and rib-tickling takes on local life that will liven any corporate events, private functions, anniversary dinners, birthday parties, and comedy nights.
RISHI BUDHRANI (SINGAPORE)
Voted top 10 comedian in Asia for 2013. After winning the HK International Comedy Competition, he was the first Singaporean to perform at Gotham Comedy Club and The Comic Strip Live in NYC, The Comedy Store in LA & ACME Comedy Club in Minneapolis. Regionally, Rishi has headlined shows in KL, Jakarta, Saigon, Phnom Penh & HK.
DR JASON LEONG (MALAYSIA)
Dr Jason Leong is the first Malaysian to win the 7th Annual International Hong Kong Comedy Festival, he then became the first Malaysian to perform a full professional set at Laugh Factory in Hollywood, USA and Gotham Comedy Club in New York. He opened for Harith Iskander’s To Know Malaysia is To Laugh Malaysia in front of 9,000 people.
BEN DARSOW (AUSTRALIA)
An internationally touring comedian from Adelaide who delivers laugh-out-loud observational and improvised standup. In 2015, he headlined shows in the US, Canada, England, Kuala Lumpur and even Burma; and has been nominated for Best Comedy in the 2016 Perth Fringe World. Ben presents a disarming and hilarious blend of spontaneous crowd work with cleverly crafted observational material. He does this with an infectious smile, a cheeky playfulness and an unmistakable joy for the craft

Rizal van Geyzel is a strong presence in Malaysia's thriving stand-up comedy scene and is well known as the co-founder of Crackhouse Comedy Club and One Mic Stand. He has performed internationally in over eight countries and regularly performs in intimate club gigs as well as concert venues n front of thousands of people.

ABOUT CRACKHOUSE COMEDY CLUB
Crackhouse is Malaysia’s first dedicated comedy club showcasing the best of local, regional and international comics with four shows a week. The club has hosted international names such as Paul Ogata, Tamer Kattan and Tom Rhodes as well as established Malaysian comics such as Harith Iskander and Douglas Lim. The club opened in 2014 and is founded by Rizal Van Geyzel, & Shankar Santhiram. Crackhouse is sought after by regulars and first timers as the go-to for edgy, unpretentious and hilarious acts either local or international.
